Mathematics
Maths is often called the science of patterns, and our co-founder Tim brings this idea to life in every lesson. With a passion for making concepts easy to understand, he helps students recognise patterns, practise them, and apply their understanding across a wide range of problems.
Backed by resources that Tim and Mansze continually update to stay at the forefront of the Victorian curriculum, our Maths program not only strengthens skills but also builds confidence to tackle complex topics.
With her expertise teaching students from a wide range of cultural backgrounds, our co-founder Mansze tailors her approach depending on whether English is spoken at home or not.
For younger learners who mainly use English only at school, she often focuses on phonics, spelling patterns, and grammar to build a solid foundation. For those fluent in English at home, her emphasis shifts towards strengthening formal writing skills, structure, and critical expression. This personalised pathway ensures each student builds confidence where it’s needed most.
Chemistry
Chemistry is one of the most challenging VCE subjects, which is why we’ve made it a priority to support our high school students in this area. Our co-founder, Mansze, has always excelled in the field—earning an Undergraduate Scholarship from the University of Melbourne for her Bachelor of Science and consistently achieving First Class Honours in Biochemistry.
With this expertise, she helps students build a stronger conceptual understanding by breaking down complex ideas into manageable steps. By offering Chemistry from Year 9 and 10, we give students more time to absorb the material, setting them up to master the subject with confidence at VCE level.
